Adam Paroussos is a sound artist, composer and performer who studied Performance Design and Practice (BA) at Central Saint Martins. His work is rooted in performative, collaborative and experimental approaches with sound and music. Over this year Adam’s research has been focused on expanded sound performance in solo and collaborative live devised work. Adam often performs as alter ego Bamboo Mustard which involves self made instruments, spontaneous group improvisation and creating sonic narratives from natural material.
Recent works include composer and live foley for the physical theatre piece ‘Haidar’ at Pratt Institute Brooklyn New York, producer of improvised night ‘Crossspace’ at DIY space for London, sound score for Andrea Zimmerman’s award-nominated documentary ‘Erase and Forget’, composer for Breakthrough Science Awards and an ongoing collaboration with the Sound Writing Kollab.
